It is the number we get after multiplying a number by itself.

Example: 4 × 4 = 16, so 16 is a square number.

Lesson 2-3 (2014)

We are starting out Chapter 2 a little slow, but that was because of the timing of Fall Break. Let's figure out the rest of the times tables.

Lesson 2-1

It might be a short week, but there's a lot going on. There is homework this week. I also have made sure that the DVD's are ready for those that can't get onto the internet. I would hope that as you practice your 6 Times Tables, that you can become proficient (that means really good at them) and a Super Six Wiz Kid.

I plan on tweaking the assignments a little. I will be sending a survey home after Fall Break. The first Element of a Flipped Classroom is Flexible Environment, and I am ready for some constructive feedback after teaching the first unit. There will be no video today, as you will be reviewing for the Test on Monday. Your assignment will be to do the work (yes, the worksheet that will be handed out today). Here is a copy of that assignment.

Lesson 19 is the last lesson in this unit. The main focus of this lesson is to make sure that you understand all of the concepts. Make sure that you get the homework sheet, and then when you bring it back you can get the review sheet to prepare for the End of Unit Test at the end of this week.
